Interesting Question – Light Skinned Vs Dark Skinned

I was in the process of hibernating my newly addictive MySpace and running a Clearout warning bulletin when I ran across a bulletin from a newly added friend, LX of Warpath. It was regarding the sociological preference for Light Skinned vs Dark Skinned people within the African American community in general. He was curious as to what people thought regarding this and what their experiences were.
I thought it so interesting a topic, that I figured I’d link to it here in case anyone had a vested interest in posting an intelligent response. I’m kind of interested in what people here (if you actually exist!) think too. So, please consider posting in both places?
I have to go and get this damn knitting commission done. This is afterall my business and sustenance, so to let it go in the name of a MySpace feeding is detrimental to say the least.
