I Knit, therefore I am. There’s other stuff involved as well but it’s too boring to mention…

The Mean Green Making Me Preen

Posted by KTC on 2 January, 2008

I suppose I should be chortling with joy. What was previously a 1/4 of the way done scarf has become a new project all over again. On looking at the progress of the 25 CO scarf and the ball of yarn I was using, I made a decision to start over with five fewer stitches. So far, so good.

The positive aspect of this is that it’s now officially qualified as my first project of 2008 in keeping with my 43things goal. I’ll put pictures of my progress up after I come back from several appointments I’ve got today. Personally, I’ve still got the 20 CO scarf I made for myself and I have no complaints. In fact, that thing is warm enough once wrapped and, with the extra length, I’m able to wrap it around my head to cover my ears, around my face, and back over my chest with length to spare.

I love knitting. Yes, I do. I also love the end result of yarn, needles, and positive effort.
