No sooner do I put myself toward the goal of learning how to Crochet then I get a sprain right between the thumb and first finger of the hand I’d be working with.
I’m not giving up. I’ll just keep looking at the videos to see if I can adapt to using my left hand. Either that, or whine to Aunti loud enough for her to hear me from Washington State.
I really don’t understand how you crocheters do it. Knitting, I get. It actually came (fairly) naturally to me once I understood the process. With Crochet, it seems like no matter what I do to look at the videos, people doing it, etc., I can’t even scratch the surface. I won’t say “I can’t” though. That’s bad language deserving of a hefty donation to the Watercooler Bank Bottle of Destruction. I will instead say “I will” or “I am” and work towards doing just that.
Now I away to do two things I am still capable of doing. Eating and Knitting.
Food wise, tonight is going to pretty much be a KISS situation. I’m making veggie soup. Yum. It’s going to be my special blend though.
Knitting wise, I’m still working on the scarf I’m making for my father. It’ll probably be done by the end of today since I’ve got nothing else better to do.
