Laying Out Goals

I put it down on 43things that I’m on a mission to lose weight by 1 January 2013.

My goal is to get down from my current weight of 244lbs down to 121lbs within that timeframe. I’ve really been motivated by the television show Extreme Makeover: Weight Loss Edition to the point where I know I can do this. I’ve seen people on that show lose 200+lbs in a years time, I should be able to lose 123lbs.

Beginning this month, I radically changed the foods I eat and how I eat them. I’ve restricted my daily caloric intake to below 1,400 per day and I’m in the process of working out an appropriate exercise routine which will enable me to burn off the excess fat I’m carrying around.

I’ve also been tracking what I eat and when with more regularity than in the past. I just need to remember to update the KaliTime Stats twitter so I can keep long term track of this.
