I am finally at the heel flap of the first sock in RICF-LDS II. I got there earlier this morning and I’m now almost completed the required 2.25 inches of flap.
This is where it gets complicated kids. I’ve got to work the gusset next. Picking up all those tiny slipped stitches. I know, in my mind, that it’s the same procedure as the Worsted Anklet Socks but with such tiny stitches and on such tiny needles, it seems like more of a task.
No fear, I’ll get it done.
Before that though, I’ve got to get another nap in. I’m at too crucial a point in this sock making to mess it up due to exhaustion. Once my package comes, I’ll have a lie down.
